The Norrisville Volunteer Fire Company was proudly established in September of 1994. Located in the Northwest Corner of Harford County, protecting the Mason-Dixon Line, we provide Fire, Rescue, Haz Mat and Advance Life Support Emergency Medical Services to the residents of our community. We also provide mutual-aid services to our neighboring Fire Companies in Harford and Baltimore County, as well as across the northern state line into Pennsylvania.
Norrisville Volunteer Fire Company serves approximately 2500 people living in an area of 30 square miles. We operate out of one station that protects a primarily rural agricultural area. We are 100 % volunteer and new members are always welcome.
NVFC Mission Statement:
"The Norrisville Volunteer Fire Company shall strive for excellence in the performance of our duties and in the well being of our community. We shall be an organization of men and women who hold devotion to service above personal risk. We will rank extraordinary service over personal comfort and convenience. We shall make every effort increasingly to find better ways of protecting the lives and property of our fellow citizens. We will accomplish our mission through fire suppression, rescue, advanced medical services, public education and prevention. We will actively participate in our community, serve as role models and endeavor to effectively utilize all resources available to provide a service deemed second to none by our populace.
Our vision is to consistently provide our services in a safe and efficient manor and be recognized by our community and our peers as a leader in fire, rescue and emergency medical services….
